The Bonds that Bind

Covenants are the the glue that holds society together; they make lives work, and form the sturdy and foundational bonds that give life meaning. They are promises that enrich our lives. And though sometimes they are hard to make or difficult to uphold, because by necessity they require responsible action, they imbue our lives with meaning as they give integrity to our connection to others.

The above is a reflection by Rabbi Heather Miller on this week's Torah portion, Parashat Yitro, Exodus 18:1-20:23. Please visit rabbiheathermiller.com to subscribe and follow on social media.
